Proverbs 2: 1-7
1 My son, if you receive my words,
And my commandments kept within you,
2 Making your ear aware of wisdom;
If you bow your heart to prudence,
3 If you cry out to intelligence,
And to prudence you give your voice;
4 If I eat silver, you will look for it,
And look at it like treasures,
5 Then you will understand the fear of Jehovah,
And you will find the knowledge of God.
6 For Jehovah gives wisdom,
And from his mouth comes knowledge and intelligence.
7 He provides sound wisdom to the upright;
It is a shield to those who walk uprightly. (RVR1960)
To hear the voice of God is to receive the written word "the Bible" where all the precepts and commandments of God are described to keep them in our hearts
The Bible is the eternal word of God where we find all the advice and direction to move in life.
In it we find the wise words of the psalmist David where he advises us to be attentive and put our ears with precision and caution to wisdom.
He also advises us to use prudence as a lifestyle in our daily speaking.
It is important to say that many people today have big problems due to lack of prudence because they act like fools lacking wisdom.
Listening to the voice of God implies separating or dedicating our hearts with prudence in addition to seeking intelligence with dedication
to acquire wisdom, it is necessary to search for all these things which will allow us to walk with what is established in the word of God.
We must look for the word of God as a precious treasure because when we find it it cannot be compared to any precious stone on this earth since it has the greatest value of all the treasures.
The word of God must be believed and scrutinized as a precious treasure to gain knowledge and understand the fear of God.
All wisdom comes from God and he can only grant it to man when he prepares to look for it and scrutinize it as something very precious
when man seeks God he obtains the best gain because he acquires true wisdom.
Very true @doumerromero, scrutinizing the word of God and keeping it is hearing the voice of God and she gives us the certainty and wisdom of believing in her promises.
