The fullness of the Holy Spirit is an experience of the believer, in contrast to the dwelling, sealing and baptism. It is a commandment to appropriate this provision and allow the Holy Spirit to fill our life, because it is the means by which God accomplishes his work in the life of the person. There is no evidence that the fullness of the Spirit, before Pentecost was open to every person who surrendered to God, was conditioned to the sovereign purpose of God. The fullness of the Spirit is the work of God for this present age.
