DIVINE SOLITUDE

in #sc-v6 years ago

2 Timothy 4: 16-18

The apostle Paul, who had ministered to the multitudes, writes in this letter that he was helpless and literally alone. But it is in this situation that the apostle discovers that when everyone leaves you, it is when God becomes more present in our lives. Loneliness is the preamble to the greatest miracles that we can experience in our lives.

Sometimes there is so much distraction around us that God will need to separate us in solitude to get our attention and instruct us.

When you feel abandoned by man do not be discouraged, understand that God has begun a process of which you will be victorious, strengthened in your faith and with a clearer vision of His purpose in your life.

There will come times when you feel lonely and abandoned, but God will be there with you. You may not see anyone with you in that hospital room or in the privacy of your room while you cry, but the King of kings and Lord of lords is there with you, because in human absence is when divine favor appears.

We should not cling to man but to God. Loneliness is a place of training, where God takes you to show you His glory. If you are alone, be prepared to see what God will do in your life.

His presence will not exonerate you from the cold, from the darkness or from fear of danger, but you can be sure that the heavenly Father will protect you and none of this will destroy your life

David, Paul, Moses, Jesus himself and other great heroes of the faith had moments of solitude, where they saw the glory of God because the heavenly Father never departed from them. If you feel lonely even if you are surrounded by people, do not be afraid or lose faith because you are in the waiting room of your greatest miracles.

If God knows even the number of hairs on our heads, certainly our loneliness will not be unknown to Him. The infallible word of God will show you that you are not really alone or alone, even though you feel it. Note for example what the word of the Lord says in relation to his chosen people Israel. I read in Isaiah 43: 1-5 Now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and your formator, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I named you, you are mine.
