The Christian life demands each day of consecration by the servants of Christ. Holiness adapts to faithful Christians for a more intimate approach to the throne of grace.
From the Old Testament itself, God exhorted the people of Israel to holiness. Leviticus is the book of the Bible where more emphasis is placed on "holiness" and "impurity."

Talk to the whole congregation of the children of Israel and tell them: You will be holy, because I am the Lord your God.
The need to be holy as God is holy is very important for the demand made today to the Lord's church.
Being holy implies being exclusive to God. In worship, praise and on sacred matters in the temple of God. When I refer to the temple, I am not referring to four walls, but to the temple where the Spirit of God dwells, which is our body, as the apostle Paul refers (1 Corinthians 3: 16-17).
The expression of saint as God demands, implies sacred, clean, moral or ceremonially pure. Holiness implies both the separation of everything profane and polluting, as the dedication to everything holy and pure.
All believers in Christ are called to live far from all pollution and idolatry of this world. God calls us to a priesthood with the ability to live in holiness with the help of the Holy Spirit. In this sense, the Holy Spirit will guide us to live in the holiness that pleases God, in words, thoughts and works that we carry out daily.
"Holy you will be, because holy I am the Lord your God" (Leviticus 19: 2).
