GOD, AN ETERNAL LOVER

Greetings and blessings to the entire Steemit family.

God dwells in eternity, and his love is eternal. With eternal love God has loved us. The love of God is a free source that comes from the depths of your heart.
Love is the best gift God offers us, but it is the one that costs us the most to receive. Why?

In the first place, sometimes we feel unworthy of his love, although it is true that we cannot earn his love: "God shows his love for us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Ro 5: 8)

Second, we often do not understand God's unconditional love because it differs so much from ours. Somehow, we believe he loves us as we love others. That is a point of view that makes us doubt that he always loves us, since the Bible promises that he will (Jer 31: 1).

Love is the commitment to sacrifice ourselves for the peace, security, joy and development of the other person (1 Cor 13: 4-8). God's love is not based on emotions but flows from his immutable character. The Bible tells us that God is love (1 Jn 4: 8). It is impossible for him to do something contrary to his nature, that is why his love will remain forever and is a certainty worthy of our absolute trust.

In addition, he gives us his love. James 1:17 teaches: "Every good gift and every perfect gift descends from above, from the Father of lights, in which there is no movement, there is no shadow of variation."
As God does not change, his love for us exists independently of our actions. We cannot win it or give anything in return; God freely offers us his love, as a free gift.

The love of our heavenly Father is perfect, wonderful, immutable and unconditional. You cannot increase the love God has for you, and you certainly cannot help taking care of yourself. Since God's love is perfect, you can be sure that He is with you forever, guiding you along the path that suits you best and providing everything you need. Therefore, forget about the misconceptions you have about whether the Lord accepts you or not. Stay away from all those feelings of unworthiness and your fears of being a victim of impotence. God has always loved him and will always love him, so accept it! And rejoice, because your flag over you is love (Cnt2: 4).

All well said. When we read the scriptures, Christ most attended places were all places full of unholy people. What does that tell us. Christ came for the sinners and not the holy ones. No matter how deep our sins are if we confess He is just to forgive and let us have share of His promises.
