The beginning of time Genesis is the book Alpha, Apocalypse is the book Omega, which correspond to the first and the last letter of the Greek alphabet. In the first book, the Alpha, we can know the will of God in eternity past, and know that God has a wonderful plan, which he will carry out. Then, time starts.

When the time begins, God began to work; and when he finishes his work, it will be the end of time. And here is a parenthesis. Before the parenthesis we have eternity past; and after the parenthesis, the future eternity. Moses said: «... from the century to the century (from eternity to eternity), you are God»
God is, from eternity to eternity. When the time begins, it is the Alpha, and when the time ends, it is the Omega. Now we place in the book of Genesis: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ..." - the first part of the parenthesis -, and when we reach Revelation we have "... a new heaven and a new earth ...". There will be no more tears, nor will there be more crying or pain. We will be kings with God forever. Before that happens, before entering into future eternity, there is another parenthesis, the book Omega - Apocalypse. In between, all the time from Exodus to Judas.
How do we know what happened in eternity past? Starting from Genesis, advancing to Revelation,
in his word, our Lord tells us everything, and today we have the universe, we have humanity, the church of Christ,
the spiritual battle and, when we look back, we can really discover what the eternal will of God is. And that is very important.
THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH FOR GOD
But here the Holy Spirit has been very careful in the use of words. When the Bible says that God created the universe, in some way, he divides the universe into two compartments, according to his plan, not according to the order of the material world, because somehow God is going to weigh all those planets. Although the planet Earth is very small, however, in the balance of God's heart, there is our planet on one side and the heavens on the other side.
Our Lord taught us to pray: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as it is in heaven, so also on earth "(Matthew 6:10). Physically, we have the heavens and the earth, but now, what is God's desire in our prayer? May the will of God be done on earth. The earth has become very important, because, through our planet, the will of God can be done.
