Freedom is the most precious gift a person can have and the most longed for although many think that freedom is to live life in their own way doing what they want or what society imposes as a rule and this is totally uncertain since that freedom cannot be conditioned by society.
Other people have another concept about freedom and on their behalf they perform any illegal or harmful act for their lives, committing all kinds of abuses and disorders in their daily lives.
Other conglomerates of people believe they need to be freed from their own actions and yearn to be free but are really subject and loving their own slavery.
Like loving your own slavery? This implies that many people who know that they are subject to things that do not edify their life even so they are not willing to stop practicing them and remain enslaved.
There are chains that oppress the man who keeps them tied
from a past anchored to a present that does not let them manifest themselves for the future because they love the delights that life offers them but it really leads them to an uncertain and insecure future.
We can cite some examples of people who live loving the world and its delights and really enjoy it because they live to please the flesh, such is the case of vices, drugs, alcohol, adultery, fornication, lies among others .
When the person is subjected to such things, they are certainly slaves to their delights and enjoy a supposed "freedom."
Humanity needs to be freed from the attachments of the world and receive spiritual freedom.
Look how the Bible tells us about the things the world offers us!
1 Corinthians 6:12
"Everything is allowed", but not everything is for my good. "Everything is allowed," but I will not let anything dominate me. All things are lawful to me, but not all agree; All things are lawful to me, but I will not be dominated by any.
| NIV
Jesus Christ freed us through the work he did on the cross of Calvary so that we could act firmly before the slaves of slavery that the world offers us.
Galatians 5: 1
"Christ freed us so that we may live in freedom. Therefore, stand firm and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery. Be, therefore, firm in the freedom with which Christ made us free, and not again be subject to the yoke of slavery".
| NIV
And there is no greater freedom than that which we receive from God, for whom the son of man will liberate you will be truly free and will no longer live in slavery or be subject to any chain of attachment.
John 8:36
"So if the Son releases you, you will be truly free."
| NIV
The only one who truly liberates is called Jesus Christ and gives us freedom to live a life in peace without attachment to the things of the world.
If you truly dream of the freedom of your soul, approach Jesus and ask him sincerely to help him end that slave that has tied him to things that do not edify or allow them to see their dreams.
Congratulations. Beautiful message When I was a slave to the world, I thought I was free to do all the works of the flesh, including drunkenness. More when I met Christ made me truly free from all yoke of vice and sin. Blessings @ricci01.
Thank you very much @elpastor, I appreciate your comment.
