The shepherds run to see the newborn baby with their eyes. And after seeing it ...
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, even as it was spoken unto them.
Luke 2:20
This is precisely the desire of God, that his greatness, his omnipotence, his justice, no longer awakens fear, but brings us great joy. Precisely because in the birth of Jesus Christ he showed us that he is a God is merciful, and that he has decided to humble himself and come to meet us with all simplicity.
God has decided to come into the world as a child, thus entering our dimension, to allow us to see, observe and touch him. Thus, God should no longer be feared for his justice and holiness, indifferent to our situation.
On the contrary, the very fact that God has become man is a strong message that tells us: if you ask where they are, look, now you can see they are there; I've always been here, but now I'm showing you living a life like yours, to show you that I understand you in your challenges, in your joys, in your disappointments.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
Christmas is the demonstration that the love of God is here to be at our side.
The history of Christmas that has transformed the world gives us great joy in the most varied situations of our lives, which we can share with our Savior. Even where these holidays can bring you tears and sadness instead of joy.
A Jesus who was a child like me and who grew up facing life as one of us can understand better than anyone how I feel. He understands you as a child, as a parent, as a mother, as an adult, with your problems and concerns.
Clearly we understand that Jesus was not born in December, in fact he is eternal, some point out that in March or April the important thing that became man, lived among us, died for our sins, was resurrected and comes soon for his church.
Enjoy these days as a family and remember that Christ lives.
No matter the date, the most important thing is that today all the families of the earth can recognize that he is alive, and we honor him, thanks for sharing brother @theonlyway.
Merry Christmas!
Happy Christmas@theonlyway.
Stay blessed.
