Well, I meant more the art fraud cases. Text fraud tends to be caught by @cheetah. Not saying the flagging system is perfect, like everything else on the STEEM platform, power is relative to your VESTS. That means the platform isn't quite as decentralised as it claims, but it is compared to corporate platforms like facebook et al.

No, but your VEST level does impact your 'bandwidth' on the blockchain. You won't be able to 'like' as often. (Not that your likes will mean anything with 0 VESTS), comment as often, post as often, or claim rewards etc. You will also have a problem getting noticed, if that matters to you. If you are just here to mess around, and don't care about all that, then sure.
all that is true. There are many factors. But cheating on steemit is just impossible. Nobody checks if it's your real account (whatever author meant by real account) or fake.
Be nice, post interesting stuff - you will get rewarded.
Be shit, post shit - you just won't get rewarded. But not banned
