What the hell is going on with Arisebank. The site is down and there was a cease and desist order from Texas. This reminds me of BitConnect except I didn't invest in that because I thought I was smarter. Did I just get destroyed by a dirty scamming piece of shit?
@stan can you give us an update on this situation please? I do believe you guys partnered up with Arisebank and I would like to know that my investment is secure.
Scams and Idiots
The scams are everywhere! It's hard to know which coins are scams and which ones aren't. I remember reading a couple of posts that Arisebank was a scam and Jared Rice was a sketchy dude. I ignored all the FUD once I saw that @stan and BitShares partnered up with Arisebank. Why wouldn't I trust BitShares?
I feel like an idiot because I am constantly doing honest things in life and sometimes get blindsided by pure scams. Was it that easy to see? Am I over reacting right now? Is it not a scam?
Is it easier to just be a greasy piece of shit?
What about scams that are ongoing on our platform? What about @haejin? @haejin is just cruising along raking in a cool $500 per post 10 to 12 times a day. Just making ridiculous predictions and getting pumped by @ranchorelaxo. Jared Rice and Arisecoin just taking a nice little $1 billion of peoples money. What's up with this shit! Everyone else just sitting around not doing anything about it.

We try very hard on Steemit and in real life to make changes in this world. People like this come around and are ruining everybody's Steemit experience. I have the opportunity to use my little bit of weight to help keep Steemit from getting destroyed.

The one thing I dislike about steemit. The fucking whales! It's like living in a micro version of the real world. Where the minnows are the 99% in a steemit world owned by the 1% (the whales).
I am actually beginning to think just that. So what is the difference between this and the corporate job I left behind where the CEO was rich, greedy and a jerk and had all the power. Takes the fun out of it.

New to all of this and I really have no pull in STEEM but I'm starting to catch on. I've seen Bernie getting after Hygene guy. What is alarming is that BTS is now in question. Dan Larimer designed STEEM, BTS and now EOS. Is this about Dan Larimer or just Haejin and his whale?
The thing that makes me nervous is Arisebank (Arisecoin) they partnered with BTS so it makes me nervous as I have a decent portfolio in BitShares. I'm not saying that BTS is in jeopardy or is any way a scam I'm just wondering if I should be nervous if they partnered with Arisebank.

I don't think we should worry about BitShares at the moment. Just be patient with that. I still have all mine I am NOT selling them. I just don't like the fact that they were partnered with Arisebank. I think you should relax and don't worry about your BitShares.
I checked the price after i messaged you. I thought it had crumbled LOL. All positive thoughts flew out the window for a moment there 😂 i can laugh now!! I was planning to diversify a bit anyway but just in the middle of a whole boat load of separating and sorting. So, it's on the back burner for now.

Haejin brought many people into Steemit- he has increased the overall community. And, anyone who thinks they're getting an overnight lambo from his predictions is crazy- he is trying to teach others to think for themselves... which is not apparent to most, who tend to follow his every move and prediction (often his "crazy" predictions come true... many months later!). I think that the ones organizing the anti-Haejin movement are whales, themselves, and they have their own selfish motives. I'd like to see regular people upvoting the good things, building a positive community, rather than focusing on the negative. I was also tempted by the Arise Bank thing, too- basically because Stan Larimer was behind it... everything else seemed "too good to be true". Hopefully the entire community can take the Arise Bank failure as a lesson learned, and come back stronger and wiser. Best wishes to you.
