Proud to recieve @bellyrub downvotes after calling out @zeartul for what he is

in #scams7 years ago (edited)

Despite Zeartul's claims that he no longer owns and operates bellyrub, I "co-incidentally" got flagged by bellyrub after coming out publicly stating he is a scammer. It only takes a short browse through the comments section of the bellyrub account or zeartuls own comments section to find many users who are upset after zeartul has not held up to his end of the bargain.

A new Steem trend, the Mashup)(gif by @stellabelle -

A friend of mine had a problem where they sent him $10 for a vote. Unlike reputable voting bots, that automatically return money if something went wrong, he keeps the money, and is very difficult to reach for comment. Because this friend (who I won't name here because they didn't want to be involved, perhaps for fear of the downvotes), I was very upset, and had to raise all kind of hell in private before zeartul finally sent the money back, along with a snarky message.

Previous to now, I kept my comments private and excluded to a small group of people who are close to zeartul, and a few personal advisors who I asked what to do... Since there wasn't much for me to do, but keep my mind on work, and continue doing what I do, I kept silent.. but I won't keep silent anymore.

I will wear my downvotes proudly, for the first time I've ever spoken ill of someone on the blockchain, for the cause of justice. I'm sure Zeartul would say "it's not my bot anymore", why then did bellyrub only target the three posts I had still in the payout window? (one of which is no longer in that window)

I promise this. If I get more downvotes from bellyrub, or zeartul, I will be happy to go through his comments history (both bellyrub and zeartul) for the past 3 months, and show screenshots of all of his dissatisfied customers, and his lack of response. Just last night I noticed in steemit chat a few people talking about how he owes them 100s of dollars! But people who are allied with him claim that his business is none of their business? If I thought someone was my ally, and then found out they were scamming people left and right, I wouldn't want to be associated anymore, I sure as hell wouldn't say "It's none of my business".

If you'd like, you can upvote these posts of mine which he downvoted for $8 each

If you like, while you're here you can check out my newest post, and first contribution to utopian.io!!

This one is past the pay window

But it's a really excellent summary of each of the presentations untill lunch from Conference Day One Room 1, at SteemFest.

Thanks For Stopping By!

I won't cry, I won't scream... I will be getting back to work, very shortly.

Hi :) thank you for taking action! As a a new user of a Steemit that is struggling for their Steemlife I really appreciate posts that are useful, informative and educational. I had no idea that there could be this kind of scam here on Steemit. I'm sorry that you were targeted and I hope you will get enough votes to cover the losses and reward you! Thank you for sharing this issue and for your initiative :)

Have you contacted the @freezepeach ? my friend?

Thank you, yes!

I'm sorry he targeted you. I'm sure you noticed that he's powering down his account, too, and has already transferred what was in his account balance to poloniex. He never had any intention of returning money to people from day one of his "bank."

I wish there was some way to stop this asshole in his tracks, but it doesn't seem likely.
