When it works, it's a positive feedback loop - people send money to get money from the reward pool which then resend to get more money from the reward pool. Both sides are benefiting from the pool.
Bots also get a share of the curation.
Not only that, but some bots write a comment on the post they've upvoted, and then upvote their own comment! Take a look at @upmewhale.
Little people voting themselves some rewards doesn't really compare to those that rent out their sp to spammers and crap posters, imo.
If folks want to vote their sp, it's theirs, but putting it out for rent changes the reward equations, no longer is the reward pool going to individuals competing on a level playing field, it is pay to play.

It is a feedback loop, but i dont see anything positive about it.
All i see is greedy f**ks raping the reward pool.
They should create 'good' content, but they would rather game the system.
How do you feel about people who upvote their own comments for several SBD, but upvote other people's comments for a fraction of that?

Do you see any parallels between this and running for Congress?
Lol, there are no citizens, it's a grand fraud,...
@marcstevens
You made me think of the movie Pay To Play. Have you seen it?
