Day 8 - 1/3 - Walk from Mabibi to Sodwana Bay

1/3/2022

Woke up at 4am and we were out by 4:30am. Today proved to be one of the most grueling days. It rained most of the day. We walked 29kms in 12hours. We took a break to get out of the heavy rain, under some pine trees. Sodwana has the longest coave so far. They don't call it the 9mile for nothing😬Lucky when Ian and I got to Sodwana beach, there were 3 youngsters hanging out in a bright blue Jeep. They are new interns for the year. They were heading to Coral Divers too. Thank Goodness, my feet were so sore by then and wrinkled. they dropped us off at reception.we left our bags under a tree and we booked in. We were both ravenous, had a pizza and shakes, hot shower, a good rub down of Soothing Rub to help us with the stiffness of muscles and sore feet.
