We set our alarms to wake up at 4am. It didn't happen. We are having a rainy day today. Ian says it's best for us to rest another day and rather get transport to Thonga. Reason being, the next leg runs past black rock, and then a long stretch of no water stops or camping facilities. We went for a walk to the beach and then walked almost the whole Bay and there they were, the last 2 little loggerhead turtles heading for the ocean. Got some video footage. Our guide took us a little further, by this time we had almost reached the start point of the bay, there we were blessed to see another 2 turtles working their way to the ocean. The moms come ashore during December to lay their eggs and the hatchlings arrive February. We were very lucky to witness the last of the hatchlings. Their are 5 different turtles that come to these parts of our shoreline to lay their eggs. Our last nights sleep and then we head off to Thonga Beach Lodge - Mabibi
