Travel Day, Headed out with the tractor and got dropped off at the shop on the way to the beach. Drew some money and met Vusi, one of the iSimangaliso guys and he organised us a lift on the back of a bakki to Mbazwana, Taxi to Mathuba and then to St Lucia, which is what we thought we were dropped off 10ks in the opposite direction. To be told we should have caught another taxi from Mathuba to St Lucia. We had to get back to Mathuba and catch another taxi from their to St Lucia. We met Sizwe on the road and he assisted us to flag a taxi down back to matuba. Interconnect to another one and then we were back on route to St Lucia. We arrived around 3pm. There was a ShopRite at our drop off. Ian went in and got us something to eat and when we were sitting under the tree, having a munchie, we met a guy from Ireland who funny enough is from the same place our oldest son Kaylib has been stuck in since the start of COVID.
@Heritage House was kind enough to assist us with a free nights accommodation. it's a beautiful B&B with all the plush finishes and touches. We were so welcomed by Thea and the staff. We had a huge bed. This was the first night Ian and I got to sleep in the same bed since we left home.
We had some creamed spinach and butternut for supper.
