Today is a sad day for Science and the World.

I just found out that Stephen Hawking has passed away. He was 76 years old and will be missed.

I have always loved science and found the mysteries of the universe so interesting and vast. There is so much we don't know and so much that's left to be learned. Stephen Hawking was among the most influential people in the history of science. I may not have always understood half of what he was talking about, probably more to be honest but I always found what he said to be interesting.

It was thanks to him that I even developed a love of science and a curiosity to learn more about time and space. Today is a sad day indeed for the science community and in fact the entire world. Rest in Peace you wonder man and thank you for all that you did and all that you inspired.
