RE: Bio-remediation: Our Savior?

in #science7 years ago (edited)

Yeah, let's save the world! Let's study biology and marine biology ftw.

This is good too, bioremediation I mean. That's why I get annoyed when people I know just throw stuff carelessly and not do it properly. Lots of people here litter in the streets, don't throw their trash in the designated trash cans and then complain when there's flood. Hahaha.

People like going to the beach but then leave all their trash behind. No wonder Boracay is now closed. Psh. Proper drainage and environmental education needs to be addressed aside from bioremediation.

Using bioplastics is good too. Plastic production should just be stopped if possible. Tsk. I'd rather that than genetic engineering some microbes or what have you's. It might produce something scary... I dunno. Am seeing videos on Facebook about plastics getting turned into roads and fuel/gas too so that's good.

Yes please, let's save the world. It even sounds like a battle cry.

We have to do what we can because there are those who just don't care or are just unaware.

I'm thinking that's what I'm going to use Steemit for from time to time. Saving the environment is everyone's responsibility. 😁:)
