Could our brains be talking to each other without notice? / Science

Neurology professor from Northwestern University in the US Dr. This is the case with Moran Cerf's work on the synchronization of brain electrical signals.
Cerf, has over ten years of investigating people's decision-making processes. Could our brains be talking to each other without notice?

Not only the transmission of signals, but also the use of brain x-rays that show which brain regions are active when people respond to different stimuli.

When people started spending time together, they found that the brain waves began to look similar. Even in some cases it can be even exactly the same.
"When you spend time with someone, there is harmony in both minds," he says.

Synchronization of Electrical Signals

In Cerf's work, the brains of people watching some film summaries showed the same patterns of activity - a kind of electrical synchronization. This is also being watched on the computer screen.

"Only two weeks later, two people who watched the same movie, read the same books, shared the same experience, and just talked to each other; they develop common patterns of language, emotion and point of view. "

So, according to the academics, the best decision you can make in life is to choose wisely who you spend time with.

"The presence of people near you is important. Beyond could explain a person has an effect on your reality. One of these effects is that you become similar to them, "says Cerf.
"If you have a bad partner and you spend 10 years with that person, this decision will be an important influence in your life."

How to Create Stories ?

Cerf, who has worked on how our elections affect the level of personal satisfaction. The decision taken at a given moment, how we remember them in the long term and these decisions are analyzing a number of factors such as how we compare with other people.

Our brain waves may become similar to those of people we spend together.

Neurologists, to create stories people tell their positive stories about some of the decisions they take, or say they are very successful.

"There are people who have experienced really bad experiences, but they still find incredible ways to interpret them using their brains. A different way to synthesize an experience. "

Some people have the ability to interpret positive memories and experiences.

"If you have not done this before, it can be difficult to start to interpret the truth differently. The shortest way is to surround yourself with people with this ability, "says Cerf.

"If you spend time with them, you will feel more satisfied. You will start to see the world in a similar way, "he says.

"And it will be in any case. You do not have to do this consciously. this is the advantage of brain compatibility.

Good work !! Thanks for sharing. Followed and upvoted.

Really thought provoking, thanks! You often give little thought to how the brain works even though it is so central.

Maybe that is why I spend so much time alone, I want to control my 'universe' too much :)

So fascinating how the human brain works. Wonder if it will ever be fully understood. Supposedly we use very little of it's capacity. Some of us, maybe even less ( :
It does become pretty evident when two people spend time together, how there does seem to be synchronization. And the 'smoothing' of bad experiences is probably helpful to many. Thanks for sharing the interesting information about the wondrous glob called our brain.
