I answered this very question in the comments, but I'll gladly repeat myself - I felt it had some awesome visuals, though of questionable accuracy. It had a lot of potential, but ultimately squandered by over-plotting and that cringeworthy angle about "love". :) Overall, a good experience but could have been so much more. 2001: A Space Odyssey is still my favorite movie about the grandeur of space.
