Bodybuilding is a set of physical exercises aimed at developing skeletal muscles, in order to gain strength, endurance, power, explosiveness or muscle volume. In these exercises, a force (for example gravity, with the use of dumbbells or body weight) is repeatedly opposed to the force generated by the contraction of the muscles. This activity is usually done in a gym.
Its benefits are substantial, first of all physically because one improves its silhouette, but also mentally. It also helps improve one's health, blood circulation, fight against back pain, against aging.
Bodybuilding is the basis of the practice of bodybuilding and several strength sports such as weightlifting. It is also a physical preparation in many sports requiring a solid physical condition (especially for high-level athletes). The gentle bodybuilding is also part of many methods of improving fitness (fitness, gymnastics) or methods of care (physiotherapy).
