Posnjakite is an uncommon but widespread secondary mineral in the oxidised zone of copper sulfide deposits, which may be of post-mine formation and may also occur in slag. This copper sulphate hydrate generally forms at low temperatures.

Very cool crystals. We have Chalcanthite at our store. A copper sulfate crystal also from copper mines. When My computer is back up and running I will post some pics.
