I already had a couple of discussions with @lemouth who is working at CERN. He says it is not the job of the CERN to solve the energy crisis. I wrote an article in French : "will we find the beginning of the universe before the end of humanity ?" but physicists do not seem to care about. They are so proud of there particles, especially the Higgs boson. Maybe they are right and we are completely wrong to care about humanity. The climate change may be due to cosmic rays.

We had discussions with the Dutch government and their final argument was that it is unproven technology.... Which is a non-argument because if it were proven you won't need any research anymore.
There simply is no reasoning with these people. And those who work at CERN, they just do what they are paid for.
