This is a very interesting post. I had not realized fake photo had been used to "out" fake research. In the ICO area, it might be helpful to have someone review the photos on the sites. We know so many of the ICO are fake and frauds, but at times it can be hard to put your finger on the "proof." Mainstream news could use these tools as well as the Iranian Missle launch pointed out a few years ago. Of course we also have to remember one easy way around the digital characteristics of photo editing is to print out a large photo and then take a picture of the picture. The picture will pass as real, because it was not edited on a computer.
