(Quantum Mechanics Craziness) - Part One - The two slit experiment!

First of all i would like to say that quantum theory is to science what the blockchain is to the internet - it is going to change everything - also it is inevitable that quantum theory is going to become a much bigger part of our world view just like the blockchain is going to become a much bigger part of how we use the internet..

If you have delved into the crazy world of quantum mechanics you most likely will have come across the two slit experiment, if this is new to you then prepare for your head to explode!

The 2 slit experiment is a well established scientific experiment involving light particles. This is the best video i have seen describing the experiment, i would of explained it myself but i feel it is much better explained with visual aids..

It is truly mind blowing, that this is happening all the time at the atomic level and goes to show that we are connected to everything around us!

Hope you enjoy this information - i am going to be creating more content like this so if you like give me a follow please fellow steemian and all the best!

everything is always working out!

The 2-slit experiment is mind boggling to me. I still am confused as to if light is a wave or a particle.

it is my belief that light, as well as all other matter in the universe can either act like a wave or a marble (particle) what i have learn't from my research is that we have an influence on the matter around us, including us (we are matter also) meaning that when matter is observed it acts like how you'd think (like a marble) but when there is nothing to observe the matter it is a sea of endless possibilities..we are the creators of our reality!

So do you believe in 'mass consciousness'. Based on empirical data (that I've read), if enough people concentrate on changing an outcome - they can possibly alter the outcome. I never come across any concrete proof but it appears that it works. I can't understand how all matter can act as either a wave or a particle. I understand that light can act that way but take for an example a rock. Are the molecules in the rock acting as a wave or a particle. I'm not trying to be argumentative, just trying to wrap my head around it. Thanks for your viewpoint.

i will explain what i mean in future posts, i am a bit tired now so not a great explanation..any ways thanks for the comment!

Nice post, upvoted and followed. Please also upvote/follow me.

thanks and done!

I disagree with you. Quantum mechanics will not be a revolution. It was a revolution 100 years ago and it is still :)

By the way, the two slit experiment does not only involve light particles. It also works with matter.

I agree Bohmian Mechanics will be the revolution. ;)
