Sorry, your post is 7 days old. It is past the upvote period.
Oh... I'm new at this so I didn't know.
Todas las aves muy hermosas @etcmike, algunas de estas especies también se encuentran en Colombia, como "Rock Pidgeon", "paloma de luto" y el " carpintero".
Saludos.
It is amazing how wide spread some bird species are around the world.
Have a fantastic week!
Steem on,
Mike
I had seen their bird publications, so I was interested in some photographs, several years of my life I devoted myself to wildlife sampling, and I learned many things about birds. Now visit the FeederWatch project and it has caught my attention too much, it's common people working on a big project, I would like to do this in my country, it's a wonderful way to integrate the community into conservation plans, teach children about the importance of the birds and the risks for them.
What a pity if you do not understand, I do not speak English, use Google translator.
I understood. You message translated very well. I too use Google translator :-)
Several Europeans have said the same thing, "they wish their country had something like Project FeederWatch". When I encouraged them to look (Google it), they were surprised to find something similar in their country.
You may want to try a world-wide project. Or simply write to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, maybe they can suggest something.
I wish you the best!
Have a fantastic week!
Steem on,
Mike
Yes google translator is really fabolous @etcmike

well said that likely said good informative post well done
Lovely pictures my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed your post here.
Cool pics! Gotta love a Rock Pigeon! (Haha!)
The video of the hawk is pretty nifty. I've been lucky to avoid starlings coming to my feeders (and Wine Country has them out the wazoo - they love to eat the grapes!) - but I was out of town so my feeders got wet and sad and pathetic.
Therefore, today involved a trip to Wild Birds Unlimited to stock up on fresh feed, a new feeder ( a cool ball suet feeder) and a return home to clean the feeders and restock. I'm sure the Lesser Finches will be back in no time :)
I'll have to pull my DSLR camera out and shoot some pictures and share my own count! Thanks for the inspiration!!
I look forward to seeing your pictures and counts!
Have a great weekend!
Steem on,
Mike
