RE: Strongest Solar Flare in a Decade And an Earlier Coronal Mass Ejection May Bring Northern Lights to Your Backyard Tonight

in #science7 years ago

The sun is going through a grand minimum cycle. For a long time (about 12 years) there has been an "earth facing quiet effect". Meaning active sunspots on the sun suddenly go quiet when facing earth. However, all that changed recently with three coronal mass ejections from the sun.

Each day I watch video reports on solar activity and its interaction with planetary activity on the Suspicious Observers YouTube channel.

Have a great weekend!
Steem on,
