Very informative article =). I didn't know all the technicalities about hydroelectricity. I'm personally very much against it, because of the construction of dams. Here in Panama, the lives of many indigenous communities have been disrupted, and they've had to relocate to because these dams were destroying their eco-system. Land that normally belongs to them is sold by the government to these large companies, without any consideration towards the people hat live there, even breaking laws. I've experienced the consequences first hand and have seen many protests about this. I guess this topic is very sensitive for me...but thank you for explaining everything. For me, solar energy is still the best way.

Thanks for the comment eve! It's very sad to hear about that. Actually, you're right this issue is very sensitive especially if there is a community involve. There is a large difference in view of those who are affected and those who are just watching it from the news. This is also an eye-opener for me. Thank you very much again eve. Don't worry I'm currently writing about solar energy, I hope you can drop by again. XD
awesome, I'm looking forward to reading it =)
