Have you ever opened your phone to check your email and then ended up browsing Facebook for more than 10 minutes ! If your answer is yes, know that you are not alone!
Facebook addiction .. Why is it a common phenomenon ?
It seems that addiction to social networking sites, specifically Facebook, has become a common phenomenon among almost everyone of all ages! According to a study published in the journal of American psychology and behavior, "CyberPsychology," even looking at the Facebook logo can make you feel "fun" !
It seems that seeing anything linked in some way to Facebook is enough to achieve that positive correlation. Because your brain knows how to act and think, it knows that looking at the logo increases your sense of happiness. No wonder you find yourself pressing on the app rather than surfing other things that are more important! This is called: Facebook addiction!
The same study found that participants who showed expressions of happiness when looking at the logo are the same people who spend most of their time surfing the site! It seems that the logo itself is linked to a hormonal process in the body, through increased secretion of dopamine hormone "happiness" !
Although the former interpretation means that the association with social networking sites may be the cause of "unconsciousness", it does not provide an excuse for continuing this practice of real life.
The addiction to reincarnation in virtual life is negatively reflected on your social life . This does not mean you should try to get away completely from facebook, but the balance between the two things, which will not affect the real social life.
