I'm a noob. Everywhere I read that one need ~10'000 GRC to mine in solo mode and stake ... and that this requires to start in a pool at first (I'm in a pool now). May I ask you how you could overcome this and stake your first block so fast? Maybe I also misunderstood something about the gridcoin...
