They already produce the superhydrophobic nano sprey Wet-o-Dry or something like that and also hydrophobic iron that is laser treated - no painting anymore. But what makes me curious is, how much water they need to produce this new materials? And, how much waste they prodce at the beginning of the life-cycle of the product?

Yeah, I saw a video too where they showed it working. Not sure about how widespread it is though or how effective in the long run.
