RE: Quantum Weirdness or Pseudoscientific Crackpottery?

in #science8 years ago (edited)

Modern physics may not be the ultimate theory (which we do not know yet), but in the meantime, it works extremely well to describe all data. Try to do as good. If it does not work (and I can guarantee your "theory" won't work), it is maybe the time to get some critical sense and move on with other things.

Let's see what Stowe has got already:

  • derivation of both the Quantum Mechanic as well as the relativistic energy relations (E = mc^2 , E=hf).
  • calculation of elementary charge by considering the electron to have a toroid (vortex) topology.
  • a link between the oscillation frequency of the electron and the observed CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background)
  • an explanation for the observed anomalous magnetic moment of the electron.
  • an explanation for the "Pioneer anomaly", since gravity = grad E.

When we analyse Stowe's basic proposal - a fluid-like aether exists and can be modeled as an ideal, compressible, nonviscous fluid - by the application of basic fluid dynamics vector analysis, we can add:

  • a clear explanation of the difference between the near and far field phenomena, which are known to exist, yet Maxwell predicts only one: transverse waves. Actually, the near field is a real transverse surface wave, hence not radiating, while the far field consist of expanding vortex rings, hence radiating.
  • an answer to Einstein's question "What are light quanta?' Nowadays every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks he knows it, but he is mistaken." Well, they are simply vortex rings.
  • rejection of unmeasurable "weak" and "strong" nuclear forces, since the actual forces involved are electromagnetic, as can be shown in the laboratory.
  • an explanation for the "fast light anomalous dispersion" : faster than c light is simply a longitudinal wave, propagating with a speed of sqrt(3) times c.
  • rejection of "spooky action at a distance", which is of course totally impossible in the first place since requiring infinite forces propagating at an infinite speed.
  • rejection of "curved space" as the cause for gravity, which is of course totally impossible also, since it would involve interaction between objects and empty space-time it self. To quote Tesla: "To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved, is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view."
  • rejection of "gauge freedom", which follows naturally from applying the Laplacian to the basic aether hypothesis, hence rejection of the theoretical freedom to invent all kinds of fields, "dark" matter and energy, etc. etc. in a fruitless effort to tape over "Maxwell's hole" with the ducktape/chewing gum of the decade, instead of simply re-deriving Maxwell's equations from a basic aether model.
  • rejection of the"Universal speed limit" c being a Universal constant, which has no physical reason to be constant. The only reason it is perceived to be constant is because of the fact that such is demanded by the Lorentz transform.

Seems to work pretty nice so far. :D
