Suppressed cancer treatment Progress?

in #science2 years ago

I recently watched Some YouTube videos on cancer treatment and it sent me on a massive trip. Consider the fact that there has been a solution to the cancer menace for a long time but it has been suppressed simply because it would reduce the bottom line for a chain of companies and professionals in the field of health care and big pharma.

Burzynski: The Cancer Cure Cover-up, follows the story of a doctor who discovered that patients with cancer had low levels or lacked recently discovered peptides in their bodies. The spread of the cancerous cells could be controlled and reversed by increasing the levels of peptides in most patients. He figured out a way to put together these peptides into something he called Antineoplastons.

The doctor came into great opposition as seen in these videos. These documentaries also have stories of the turbulent journeys of cancer patients being treated his Clinic in Houston, Texas, as they faced a lot of harassment and intimidation.

The video above shows another earlier case of a non-patentable cancer therapy that stopped the spread of cancer 80% of the time, of which the positive results were supposedly covered up.

Any research done currently will recommend that patients go through surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Surgery is used as the first line of treatment for solid tumors, which usually involves removing the cancerous tissue as well as some of the surrounding healthy tissue,
in order to ensure that all of the cancer has been removed.

Radiation therapy utilizes high-energy beams, such as X-rays, to kill cancer cells. It is usually used alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is the use of drugs to kill cancer cells. It can be given intravenously or orally, and can be used alone or in combination with other treatments.

Immunotherapy, Targeted therapy and Hormonal therapy are also other ways used to augment cancer management including a number of supportive therapies and treatments that can help to manage the symptoms and side effects of cancer, such as pain management, nutritional support, and emotional and psychological support.

These recommendations come with strong suggestions to consult with a qualified healthcare professional, such as a medical oncologist, surgical oncologist, or radiation oncologist, to determine the best course of treatment for an individual's specific type and stage of cancer.
