Who is not familiar with bees, this animal is known insects because the way of their lives is in a group. Bees are insects that have wing membranes and it belongs to the "Apoidea" family and the class "insect". Bees spread to all continents, except the Atlantic continent, in this world, there are hundreds of thousands of bees species. [ source1 ]

In addition to the famous for their way of life are in a group, bees are also known for the honey produced by them. However, did you know how bees produce honey..? in this paper I would like to discuss how bees produce the liquid that rich with benefits for human health.

How Do Bees Produce Honey?

Why bees produce honey ..? the answer is because honey is bee food so we can deduce that the honey produced by bees is the result of collecting food for a colony of bees in a beehive. The honey produced by bees has to go through several stages to be harvested or used by a group of bees colonies.

The process of producing honey by bees.

The first step is gathering nectar from flowers, nectar gathering performed by worker bees that has a tongue-like proboscis. The tongue named proboscis. Through the proboscis that is nectar on flowers taken by way of being sucked and then brought back to the nest.

The second stage is, nectar which is already collected by worker bees will be smoked back from the belly of the worker bees by other worker bees who are usually younger, sucking is also made using proboscis. The worker bees of the young the nectar is converted into honey.

The removal process the worker bees honey from old to young worker bees aimed at adding enzyme from the mouth of young worker bees to the nectar before changing the nectar into honey is raw. This step will spend time for 20 minutes.

Furthermore, raw honey that has been generated will be saved in place of the honey in the hive, raw honey is still has a high amount of water. Water levels will be reduced little by little when kept in honey, the water levels will be reduced because of the effect by movement of its wings of bees in the hive.

Dried honey or the amount of water content in it already reduced will be considered mature. The honey is stored and is also protected by the sheet under the abdomen of bees the piece is often referred to as "candles". That's the process of bees produce honey, After going through the process I describe above, honey can already harvest by humans or used by a group of bees colonies. [ Source2 ]

The Purpose Of Bees Produce Honey.

The honey produced by bees usually in large numbers, It aims for the preparation If there are other predators who want to steal honey. Predator I mean can of animals in the wild and also could be from men who do not understand so take honey in an unlimited amount.

In addition, the amount of honey produced in a certain number of also useful for food supply when winter arrives, by the time winter worker bees cannot work to produce honey. [ source ]

Conclusion.

Honey is one of the great benefits of having fluid for human health, and also a wide range of fungi and bacteria cannot breed on honey because there is a composition that makes it not going to happen. So honey can last for a long time.

I also recommend to anyone who wants to take the honey in the wild, lest harvesting honey in an unlimited number of (many), because if it is done it will be very dangerous to the life of bees. As we know, honey is bee food. So, Honey crops in a reasonable number of to maintain the stability of the life of the bee colonies.

Local honey is very good for combating hay-fever and I used this for my kids. It has to be locally sourced honey though for the best effect.
