Beautiful description of the system, thankyou, to offer another side of it, says Terrence Mackenna: "most stars gutter out of existence after 500 - 600 million years, that's the average lifetime of a star. We happen to be on a planet around an extraordinarily slow burning and smooth burning star that has lasted a long time, but life on this planet has been here for at least 2 billion years, that's three times the lifetime of the average star..."
