RE: Psychology Talk Series # 7: Why One's Smoking Habit Is Not about Nicotine Alone

in #science7 years ago

I smoked for 13 years. Over time, I watched the clock more and more just to make sure I was spacing out 1 hour between smoke breaks. The decision to quit stemmed from fear for my life - I was unable to take deep breaths, and got winded just making a bed. I've come to the conclusion that no stories, no pictures, no graphics will ever make anyone quit smoking. The decision has to come from something they experience themselves, and their own determination.
