WHY ARE BOTH POLES OF THE WORLD EXTREMELY COLD?

Ever wondered why Antarctica is the ice desert it is today? Ever wondered why northern parts of Canada and Russia a‭re extremely frigid. And ever wondered why Greenland is layered entirely with permafrost. All these places listed are related as they are situated at the extremes of the world (The North and Southern regions of the world).
It is no news that no one lives on the continent Antarctica, the weather is freezing and unbearable, and lands are hugely permafrost waste lands so no vegetation for humans to survive on.

And also, there are locations in Russia that the temperature goes so low even multiple layers of clothes would not keep you safe from the harsh cold. This cold totally isn’t the winter we experience, rather, it’s frigid freezing as temperature can go as low as -60C.

We are all aware of the warmth that exist across the Equator of the Earth. Countries like Nigeria, Ghana and Brazil can feel the warmth of the Equator. One of the reasons for the equator’s warmth would still trace back to the opposite of why the extreme polars are frigid.

In Oymyakon, temperatures have been recorded to go as low as 62C. If you’re wondering how the people who live there survive, you’re not alone.

WHY ARE THE POLES THIS COLD?
The poles of the Earth are cold primarily because they both receive little direct sunlight from the Sun compared to the Tropics. This is typically a result of the axial tilt of the Earth. During the winter seasons, the Sun does not come out at all for much of the season in the Polar regions. So we all know what happens to a place that has little Sunlight to warm up the region, yes we do. The place has the capabilities of freezing abnormally.

WHY IS THE SOUTH POLE COLDER?
Yes. The South Pole is colder than the North. This brings us to the knowledge of the abandoned ice continent, Antarctica. Antarctica lies directly at the South Pole in the Antarctica. Since the Arctic is basically centered on water compared to the huge land mass of Antarctica, and water has a high heat capacity, which then heats up the Arctic a bit.
Making the North Pole warmer (but still crazy cold too).

Should we say thanks to global warming that the poles have gotten a little bit warmer now or no thanks because with the polar ice melting away, the world would experience a disastrous flooding. Well who wants to go live in deserted Antarctica anyway? So I strongly suggest no thanks. Over the years scientists have recorded striking rises in the temperatures of both polars, ice caps are melting away. Greenland used to be a total ice desert, but in these decades, it has been recorded that the tundra ice caps are melting.
Well once again. No thanks to global warming and neither too to the frozen poles.

Very informative. Nice

Nice work bro, this provides to a large extent that humans can adapt to any weather conditions. All thanks to the Creator for this gift of adaptation. Well done bro

😨😨
I seriously did not know this before!
Thanks for the enlightenment 😊
