According to a new report by the CDC which was released on Friday, April 27, 2018, about 1 in 59 eight-year-old children have identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This report shows a 15 percent increase from the most recent report two years ago that estimated 1 in 68 children have diagnosed with autistic symptoms.
The rate is one in 38 among boys and one in 152 among girls.
As I (@panahi1353) mentioned in my recent post, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) are a common, and childhood set of heterogeneous neurodevelopmental disorders characterized by deficits in reciprocal social and communication interactions and also repetitive behavioral patterns.
