It has been some time that the concept of simulation has came. Elon Musk and Neil Tyson are the strong believer of those simulation kind of thing. Elon Musk believes that it is simulation for sure. He says there is very less probability that the world is real. He gave some evidence that how are we even believing that the world is real. Lets take a example of it
In 200 B.C prisoners were taken to a cave where they could not see any other person and any other animals and outside world. All they saw was the shadow of the animals and humans inside the cave. They thought that the sounds were also from the shadow. When they were released from the prison and they saw the real world then they became so frightened that they returned back to the prison in their reality. So, anything that you see will be reality for you. How could you even know that anything is there when you are not looking at it. You put a book in a room and went out and when you came back the book is there at the exact same place you kept, but what if the book flew through out the room the whole time you left and it again came to be the same place where you left it. You can not believe what you see.
It may also be that this world is designed for you only and you are the main character of the simulation and everything is going on for you. All the videos you see all the interesting facts you see all entertainment, all the comedy, all the football matches and everything is for you and when you die everything is going to end.
Another reason why we believe in simulation is that, the world is in exact same pattern of a video game. There are small pixels of images. If you zoom a photo you can surely see it being blur, that is the pixels of the image. At the exact same pattern there is atoms to build everything in this universe.
Let us think differently. There are many computer simulated games now. If you see the technological revolution of the game then compare this two pictures of call of duty.
There may be a short 10 years time different between the two games but there different is huge in picture quality and functions. Think of like 1000 years in future. What sort of game we will be playing then? The game will become so advanced that it would be difficult to find weather it is reality or a game. It can be so complex that it looks real.
Another fact or hypothesis is that the universe is still expanding and it may be because the game is still loading.
