I've been following your posts and I find them very well written and interesting. I am a retired Environmental Biotechnologist and I have a lot of experience in organic chemistry. I focused on using DNA analysis to study microbiology of caves and groundwater, and I have done research at Postojna Cave and Skocjan Caves in Slovenia. I see you have been more successful than I in approximately the same amount of time, so I would like for you to see my posts and offer some constructive criticism. I am having some difficulty formatting my posts, with pictures and links, but so far they have turned out OK, in my opinion...they just aren't being seen much. I need to build a following. After retiring from the lab, I have many unpublished manuscripts, project ideas, and anecdotes that I hope will be useful to the next generation of scientists. Of course, I have many travel stories I can write about my adventures exploring caves and carrying out research in Europe and China but I am waiting to become more proficient in my posts before I submit them. I know you are not a Steemit Instructor, and there is plenty of helpful material I can find, but I think we have similar goals for our efforts on Steemit and SteemSTEM.
Thanks!
