What an interesting bird, its beak is very curious for me. Hope there are strict laws to protect them, maybe deforestation is not a problem there but preserving such a bird is important for the ecosystem.

Sometimes no law can prevent the extinction of species. Sometimes it is just part of nature. The current volcanic eruption in Hawaii has destroyed a lot of habitat and threatens some species on the island.

But nonetheless, people should be good stewards of our world. The local zoo here has coordinated with conservationists in Hawaii to save some plant and animal species affected by the volcanic eruption.

That's true, as you say, the important thing is conservating this birds to avoid they disappear from the Earth, or at least, doing our best to protect them. :D
