Scientists have proved that dolphins possess a full speech

in #science8 years ago

Scientists Karadag natural reserve, published a report according to which dolphins can talk to each other.

Previously, scientists had known that dolphins are consciously transmit ultrasonic signals over long distances. Using these signals, the dolphins not only communicate, but also versed in the depths of the sea.

Scientists led by Veceslava Ryabov managed to record the underwater microphone dialogue between the two dolphins. The researchers found that the language of dolphins is a system that is close to human speech. Scientists struck by the fact that while one Dolphin tells, the other listens carefully.

The study opens new horizons for the study of the social lives of dolphins as developed system of language is evidence of a highly organized mind these marine mammals.

The thought that they would have speech in human terms would mean they would have to form their mouths to produce correct sounds, so does this mean we should be able to speak dolphin in the future?
We can only perceive that they communicate with each other as we do.

The world of animal communication is a fascinating subject !

There are many different forms of speech. Remember morse code. One can communicate via short and long signals, be they sound or light or whatever. We need to learn dolphin culture and what matters to them. Then there will be common ground. If we try to speak to them about the NHL it may not register. On the other hand, food, danger and offspring may be common ground for humans and dolphins.

The theme is really interesting, I recently published a post about dogs: https://steemit.com/science/@romel/how-do-dogs-understand-human-speech-actually

I think so, dolphins as well as other cetaceans are highly intelligent animals and there are various forms of communication, because the dolphins to live in a water environment using frequencies that are not noticeable to humans. The set of all these frequencies together can form a complete speech!

what about minnows and whales? :-)

With whales complicated, but whales and decipher)

I doubt very much that this is true.
