Differences Meteor and Star
Before we go deeper into the meteor, we need to equate the view that the meteor we commonly know as the "falling star" is not really a star. The lesson at school has given us the idea that meteors are celestial bodies of fallen rocks and enter into the earth's atmosphere. The actual meteor does not glow, but it becomes glowing because it rubs against the atmosphere and air so it becomes hot and burning.
NASA claims that the meteor consists of elements of stone, stony, carbon and iron. According to NASA a small meteor will evaporate when it collides with Earth's atmosphere, but if the meteor is large enough, the meteor will be able to hit the earth's surface. It is estimated that the meteor moves at a speed of 45,000 mph or 30 times faster than a bullet.
Meanwhile stars are luminous celestial bodies (not of stone). So the star does have its own rays just like the sun. Stars have become part of human culture, because its existence is very useful. In addition to being a sky decoration of stars used in religious practices, marine navigation, even farming. Until here understand well the meteors the same star!
