RE: Dividing the concrete jungle to help the animals connect - Part I

in #science7 years ago

Those critter over under passes are really cool!
I got to see the overpass one when driving through
Jasper national park, Banff Canada. They were so
amazing to see in person! I would hope they are
set up where animals have crossed for many moons.

The concrete jungle reminds me of the Borg world
from one them star trek movies! ack!
Take care my friend! ⚔Thank you so much for the mention @snowyknight! 💕

Cool glad that you got to see one during your journeys! I want to look more into the science about how the decisions were made regarding location, etc. Agreed that animals, like people have habits so hope they picked a moose superhighway to cross!

No worries for the mention. Great photos deserve it friend. Have a good one! Keep Yaking! Hahahaha

Be interesting to hear what you find out!

Around here there are moose crossing signs and
they really do cross a lot near these locations!

Any Yak crossing signs? :-)

Ok, I'll get into some serious research about this.

Really nice photo and sign. I like the one from NH personally. This is a meme.. from here.

I have a couple more from my personal collection. Hmmm maybe a post on this...

PS.

Moose under the pass
hearing the rumble of trucks
overhead, time flies.

Or in classic 5-7-5:

Moose under the pass hearing the rumble of trucks overhead, time flies.
