Since there's a change in magnetic flux as the magnet passes through the pipe, current gets induced in the copper pipe, which in turn produces a magnetic field in opposite direction to that of the magnet.
Hence, it slows down.

So the magnetic polarity induce, should be repulsive...??? Is, there a, way, we, convert it into, attract, tive force..??
There's a way. Just move the metal away from the field.
And the force will be attractive. Though the action is still opposing to the field.

I am wondering if iwill cut the copper vertically to have to ends of it and connect to meter if how much voltage , it can generate.
