Science writing break - music to rest your mind v. 1.0 - Tame Impala

in #science7 years ago

You cannot do science all the time! Today for my break I present you Tame Impala. So take a break geeks!
Rest your brain and listen to music.

Tame Impala please meet Steemit, Steemit, please meet a radical band.

It is basically one bloke from Australia, Kevin Parker. He writes, plays, and records all of the tracks and he is awesome. He tours with a band, but it is basically his outpouring of talent. Musical genius.

It is is no secret that Australia has some of the best music globally these days. Because this is steemit, I am going to present Tame Impala to you. Because music is awesome and we all need a break. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Please note, this isn't always a "listen to once and love it" it is complex and bad ass and requires a listen or twice to really appreciate. Have your headphones on?

  1. The less I know the better
This song is awesome, the video is awesome too. The music vid is pure art, good on you guys! Don't be prude, it's just art!

"i was doing fine without you, then I saw your face..."

  2. The moment
Take a break on the beach, relax the mind, and let it all fall into place.

"it's getting closer, sa, sa sa, sa, sa" https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd2KNtfphz8HvYzM4pwtHmg

  3. endors toi
This is a trip. A sonic journey, the essence of a break...

  4. elephant
driving awesomeness, the beat, the riff, just enjoy.

  5. let it happen
I don't love the video, but the song is cool... upbeat and a bit wild.

    "all this running around"

  6. Cover of let it happen by Meg Mac live on Triple J
    Let's slow it down.

"let it happen, let it happen"

Hope you enjoyed an intro to Tame Impala. If you listened to this all, you can likely get back to science. Cheers!
