I struggled with my weight for a long time, and while I still fluctuate within the same 12-15lbs zone, it largely stabilized after a year of journaling everything I ate with 3x/week weigh ins. I exercised, but what really helped was seeing how my body responds to different foods. For example, bread is like eating a candy bar for me, whereas high-fat nuts and cottage cheese quicken my metabolic rate.
