It definitely shocked me when I first started learning about it- earthworms are just so pervasive it's hard to consider them invasives. It's pretty stunning once you really start learning about how MUCH we've changed the Earth in just our short time on it already- transporting invasive species is just the tip of the iceberg. We warp ecosystems around us.

Unfortunately the modern human species haven't been the best stewards of the plant so far. But I have hope that with further knowledge and training we can help the next generation to some how aid mother natures recovery. Things like natural farming, Permaculture and the reduction of meat consumption in our diet will all be a great step in the right direction. 🌍
