Sheer nonsense. Copernicus' theory that the Earth is round has never been proven. Chris Hadfield's claim that they went to space to learn some ludicrous lesson about the alleged advantage of deliberately hurting spiders has also never been proven. (There is no unedited video showing flight of a craft from the ground to the alleged orbit).
Science is currently at around the stage religion was at centuries ago. Muhammad would claim that their undocumented flight to heaven gave them some spiritual authority over humanity. Later priests like Guru Nanak and Baha'u'llah didn't make similar claims, as they probably understood that making unverifiable declaration that one has been to heaven in their physical body does not prove anything. Yet Chris Hadfield apparently mimicked Muhammad by making an undocumented claim that they went to heaven and learned some meaningless lesson about spiders from it.
Show me, now, how scientific consensus about space flight is backed by reason or scientific method.
