No problem, Jacob :P
I simply run a command and it's set up for you in 5 minutes... because steemblog is built to be a service that can synchronize blogs for a steem user quite easily. We have quite a few people used this service mainly in CN community.
- Here is the repo (subfolder) that stores the generated static html files for your account: https://github.com/steemblog/steemblog.github.io/tree/master/%40jacobyu
- Here is the markdown source (with some metadata) that retrieved from steem blockchain: https://github.com/steemblog/steemblog.github.io/tree/source/_posts/account/jacobyu
And definitely you can reuse that to build your own blog template, etc. to add more metadata such as self-defined categories. :) If you want to switch to another template, add more enhancements or have more ideas later, I can definitely help when you need.
