I decided to spend some time by the seaside this summer. I have never done this before. The place is called Irakli and it is a beach, situated in the middle part of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast south of Obzor. It's quite a magical place.
My friends and I left our hometown very early in the morning ( around 2 am ) and arrived at our destination by 9 am. The sun was shining bright and we were all carrying heavy luggage on our backs, after all we were planning to spend some good two weeks there.
After lots of searching, we finally managed to find a good spot to settle down. We opened our tents, walked around baggage-free and saw lots of beautiful flowers. Nature is truly mesmerizing.
On our third day, it started pouring rain and it didn't stop for two whole days. It was a nightmare. Our whole tents were full with water, but luckily after two nights of heavy rain, the weather finally returned to normal. I decided to go on a barefoot adventure in the mud.
I took some nice pictures of the river Vaya, which is positioned very close to the sea.
Here is a picture of the beautiful sea right after sunset. We did skinny dipping.
On one of our final nights, I couldn't sleep and watched how the sun was rising from behind the trees.
None of us really wanted to leave, but eventually we had to. It was a magical experience and hopefully my friends and I will visit Irakli again next year.
